Circa 1950. This stunning platinum ring features a beautiful, brilliant blue 5.85-carat cushion mixed-cut faceted sapphire with no heat treatment. This fantastic stone is surrounded by 40 baguette diamonds radiating from the center stone in "ballerina skirt" fashion and 10 round brilliant-cut diamonds accenting each side of the sapphire. The baguette-cut diamonds weigh .95 carats total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and E-F color. The brilliant-cut diamonds weigh .10 carats total, with SI1-SI2 clarity and F-G color. The ring is approximately a size six and can easily be sized. "PT900 D095" is stamped on the inside of the shank.
